Solving the UFO Enigma: How Modern Physics is Revealing the Technology of UFOs

The book describes how modern physics, along with certain conjectures, is pointing toward a likely explanation of UFO technology.

Can the technology behind the UFO phenomenon now be explained by modern physics?       It now looks like it can if we correlate the known characteristics of the more credible UFO reports with developments in modern physics.      Contemporary physics in its attempt to unify the fundamental forces of nature in a "Theory of Everything" has proposed theories that require the existence of up to eleven space-time dimensions and the possibility of entire universes existing side by side with our own.     The book not only shows how physics has evolved to this point but it also looks at the unanswered questions in modern physics such as the origin of inertia, the mystery of quantum non-locality, the Higgs or "God" particle and the puzzle of the relative weakness of gravity.      Of particular interest in this proposed solution to UFO technology is that it can be tested.      It is based on M-theory and Warped Geometry which are two related theories that have been developed over the last several decades.     These theories are currently being tested at the Large Hadron Collider particle accelerator in Geneva, Switzerland.      In addition if spectrographic data can be obtained from actual UFO sightings (such as during a UFO 'wave' like the Phoenix Lights in the late 90's that occurred over many months) then if we detect electromagnetic emissions known as Hawking radiation it will provide convincing proof of the technology used in these alien craft.    In the vicinity of UFOs there already is evidence of gamma rays and X-rays which are part of the Hawking radiation spectrum.   This is all explained in the book.

The idea that at least some UFOs are vehicles from extraterrestrial civilizations has been around for a long time. There are good reasons to believe that this is the case. Even the generally skeptical study of UFOs sponsored by the U.S. Air Force in the late 1960's known as the Condon Report included a number of sightings that baffled the experts. More recently the French government in its official COMETA Report concluded that the best explanation for at least some UFOs is that they are of extraterrestrial origin. Many other researchers have come to the same conclusion. For the purposes of this book my working assumption is that a subset of all UFO reports does represent real machines from civilizations beyond earth.

Professional Reviews

Review by Retired Physics Professor
I recommend this book to all readers who are 1) Scientific adventurers, 2) Technical detectives and 3) Curious thinkers. This is a classic on UFOs. By Dr. Milo Wolff, retired professor of physics who has worked for MIT, NASA and the U.N.

Review by Nick Pope of UK Ministry of Defense
As science grapples to understand concepts such as dark matter and hidden dimensions...Robert Schroeder takes the reader on a thrilling voyage of discovery where exotic physics might finally help us solve one of the gretest and most profound mysteries of our time. By Nick Pope, former head of the British Ministry of Defense unit in charge of investigating UFO reports in the UK in the 1990's.
