It is a memoir detailing how frustration and anger caused Nadine to lose faith in God, despite overcoming an addiction that nearly destroyed her. With equal determination to be a great single mom, and remain successful in her singing career, she realized something had to give.

What do you do when you are at your deepest, darkest moment of frustration while facing the demands of a teenager alone? How do you find your footing when you sink into depression and just don't care because of lost dreams? Nadine had equal determination to be a great mom, and to remain successful in her singing career, but she realized that something had to give.

In "Faith Reclaimed, A Single Parent’s Journey Out of Darkness," Nadine describes how anger and frustration caused her to lose faith in God, as well as herself because of much adversity. While examining her relationship with her teen daughter, as well as her own life, Nadine understood that there was no way she could rid herself of the spirits of frustration, anger and depression alone.

In her first book, Nadine is very transparent as she describes how she lost her faith. However, she also lets the reader know what she had to do and where she had to go to reclaim it.

As you journey with Nadine, you will learn, laugh, cry and be encouraged, as she takes you down some of the most difficult paths that she ever had to face – paths that you, too, may have struggled to overcome.

“Frustration and anger became frequent visitors in the home as my daughter approached her teen years and I ventured into middle age. Neither she nor I spoke about our feelings. We were changing – getting older. Friction between us became more and more common. There were days when I thought I would see nothing but darkness and hopelessness due to lacking. When I prayed and cried out to God to remove the pain, the darkness appeared even more so.”
