Kinmel Revisited is a part of history possibly long forgotten?. But in 1919 just after the war to end all wars we the brits found we were unable to supply the ships to take out=r allies home so camps like Kinmel Army Camp in Nroth Wales were set up diring the interim period.Conditions were said to be worse than those at the front ,with a flu epidemic lack of pay and cold conditions four hundred men of the Canadian Expeditionary Force Rioted.During the riot five men were killed either by bayonet or bullet. And it was whilst I stood over the five graves with the Maple Leaf Emblem on them in Bodelwyddan North Wales,I knew one day I would write my book in memory of them. Today it can be seen and read on Amazon Kindle KDP and possibly purchased through them since it was remaindered in 2008.

The Kinmel Camp Riot is talked about even today in Wales and beyond. I have used history and mystery ,and have woven a story around the riot as seen by an officer who was present.Using fictional characters to avoid conflict with any living relatives I have written my book.Although time has erased the memory of the riot and indeed those five dead men,it is in my opinion a part of history many will not want to remember because of the riot itself, but it did happen and sadly those graves remain tended each year by visitors and I understand relatives?.I was shocked when my publisher rermaindered my books ,but not to be deterred I decided to contact Amazon Kindle KDP who kindly agreed to publish my books.Although aged seventy four today I still write and enjoy writing on a daily basis.
