"Shhh." Amanda grabbed her drink,put her index finger to her lips,and followed April out into the parking lot. "I don't want Amy to hear. She'll tell mom."
"Tell your Mom!" April sucked in her breath and chocked on her chocolate candy bar. "You're going to go out on a date with Jeff and not tell your mom?" She coughed.
"Yes." Amanda looked at April and frowned. "It won't hurt anything. It's not really a date anyway." Amanda stopped and took a long swig of her drink that was spilling over the edge. "I'll just be going to the movie with a friend."
"No... it's a boy and it is a date." April confirmed. "I don't think you should do it."
