Bharatinder Singh is a middle aged businessman in the terrorism hit state of Punjab in India. He is a peaceful person of a typical middle-class family. He gets panic-stricken, as terror loomed large in Punjab. He is sick and tired of the living such a terrified life. The businessman always has to negotiate his business conditions with he ruthless ruffians. He feels he has been a big failure in life. It is his emotional decision to stay in India that plunges him into the abyss of failure. Most of his friends left for greener pastures in the USA and Europe. It has also affected his son's future. The young boy also gets disappointed about his career despite his prodigious talent. Bharatinder is losing his mind. He becomes more and more anxious about his family that constitutes his pragmatic wife, his young son, and a younger daughter. Though his wife is more optimistic about their future, she hardly knows the way that will usher in success. As the family strives to survive in this rough and tough world. Bharatinder has to flourish as a successful businessman, and he has to support his family economically. His wife is also anxious to keep her husband sane. The young boy faces the waves of new challenges in course of meeting his goal. And the girl child has the whole life before her. Can the middle-class family reach the cherished silver line of success and happiness? Will they get The License to enter the brave new world?
