Fishing
I went fishing today,
And it started to rain.
There were ripples on the pond,
I thought would scare the fish away.
But, I peeked over the edge,
And saw fish swimming about.
They were gliding through the water,
Just weaving in and out.
I watched them for a while,
How peaceful they all look.
So, I just stood there very still.
I didn’t even bait my hook.

I'M ALREADY A FAN
I love your work, particularly Silly Sally. There is a lightness and joy that comes through, and yet the message is so important. I'm already a fan!

BEGGING HIM TO RETURN
The poems written, illustrated, and read by Peter Blueberry are “gut busters.” His poems are filled with child humor that keeps them focused and laughing. Our kids were terribly disappointed when it was time for him to leave and are begging to have him return.

FOR CHILDREN OF ALL AGES
As the chair of Arlene Hein Elementary's Readathon this year I was impressed by Peter Blueberry's poems and artwork and immediately asked him to join this year's Readathon. I was not disappointed! I discovered that not only was he a fantastic author but a dynamic speaker as well! He was also so personable, just sitting and talking to him you felt right at home. The teachers and students loved listening to him read his whimsical poems. One teacher stated that, "the students enjoyed his witty and clever poems because every child can relate to them". So impressed we were that I have added his name to the our Readathon list of "must haves". Having 4 kids of my own spanning the ages of 5 - 13. I have bought his entire collection! Children (and
adults) of all ages can enjoy his poems and artwork.
