Wrong Place Wrong Time

This story is based on real events of my harrowing trip from London to Spain where after enjoying the sun and romance of Marbella, I witness a hotel fire.

After saving two lifes I was then wrongly arrested for arson and manslaughter and sent to prison to await my court case.

What followed after has been discribed as a fast paced gripping read.

Reviewers have even mentioned that a movie is should be made from the story!

Excerpt

"I just wanted to say thanks again. I'll never forget what you did."

"It's no problem," I told her.

The paramedic moved to close the doors, but the woman put her hand out, stopping him.

"What's your name?" she asked, smiling.

"Dave. What's yours?"

"Debbie," she said. "I really can't thank you enough. You saved my life."

I smiled at her as the doors closed. The paramedic thumped the back of the vehicle with his fist and with that, the sirens burst into life. Debbie was on her way to the hospital, safe and sound.

Professional Reviews

Wrong Place Wrong Time
WRONG PLACE WRONG TIME is the first book written by David Perlmutter and what a fantastic story he has to tell.

The biography is of a young successful man who had it all, and lost it all by making one careless mistake. This error in judgement caused a chain reaction of errors that took David on a roller-coaster of misfortunes and plain, bad luck. The book certainly fits the title. We've all been at the wrong place and wrong time. David has been there numerous times.

This story is well-written and gripping to the end. I applaud the author for telling his story. It's a quick read that you will want to finish in one setting just because it's that captivating.

Highly recommended. Brilliant story sir.

Reader Reviews for "Wrong Place Wrong Time"

I am a fan of biography, autobiography, true crime and fact based literature. This book had elements of all these genres and it read like a thriller. David's style of writing makes you feel like he is just a friend telling a story but just when you are thinking you are going to get a nice coming-of-age story, beer and women get involved, and then the plot begins to twist! This is a edge of your seat, can't put it down PERFECT read. I am a reader and a thinker and this one kept me doing both. Every once and awhile you read a book where you just want to find the author and buy him a drink but in this case... that could be dangerous. Do not for a moment think this is a 'man's book'. ANYONE who likes a great read will enjoy this one...the girls in the book club can't put it down, my 80 year old dad loved it and any 20-something on the verge of traveling should read this cautionary tale! Well done!
