A gripping Intellegent Read
This first novel grabbed my attention from the first lines and at the end I’m still interested…enough to wait for the second. I enjoyed Ms. Shields style, her grasp of character & development of her people and plot. She writes from the heart with an intensity and knowledge of a young person’s mind processes (all the poignant twists, turns, uncertainties of youth).
