What the hell is going on? Prenzina asked. Are you all hearing what I’m hearing? Don’t you see that 1B is ahead of 6A in every district! she exclaimed. But, that’s okay. There is always a next time. And believe you me, there will be a next time, she concluded.
You, pointing to the candidate, the elderly woman helping with the numbers said. “You have a celebration to go to. Your comrades will be expecting to see you. We can take care of this; you just get yourself down town with the rest of them.
Calm down Prenzina, the night is young and the 6th, and 7th have not come in yet. We got you, the voice said.
Don’t worry about it. You know that the 9th through the 14th are ours, said Shirley, as she tries to comfort her.
Don’t touch me. Don’t any of you say a damn thing to me. The one time I asked you to support mine, look what happens. I don’t believe it!
