One Man’s Journey is sensitive, touching poetry with haunting expressions found
in “Sunset Image Pass Me By” and “Cobblestone Echoes” which convey the challenge of loneliness. Other pieces delight in life, such as “Cathy Colorado” and “Freedom Wave,” Some speak of intimacy and passion through the deep connection relationship brings when a man opens his heart to a woman's love. “Don't want to Sleep Tonight” and “Beginning of Love” are full of soul and poignancy.
Follow all the tributaries in this rare, gem of a book. Then, Let these poems give safe harbor to your heart forever...

SOMEWHERE IN THE BACK OF MY MIND
02/02/95
I pulled out old pictures
Gazed at your face; memory
Took me back, to those nights
You saved your smile for me.
When I whispered your name,
You stepped to the front
Of my heart, from somewhere
In the back of my mind.
Strawberry, long blonde hair, near,
Green eyes, playful with passion,
Light rose lips, sultry, in faint light,
First love’s blush on your face...
Yes, I still recall those
Tender moments, cradled
In yesterday’s hands, loosely
Wrapped in pink cashmere.
Sushine on my Shoulder
Dawn breaks through breaks evening’s chill,
Rays stretch, taste dew. Different light touches me.
Her soulful ways color my days.
Her love-shine eyes light my world.
When I close my eyes, I know the sunshine
On my shoulder’s in love with me.
Excerpt
When pillows hold dream sharers,
With visions shared in candle light,
While fragile moments flicker,
Tender is the night.
For the baby asleep on mother’s breast,
For the baby asleep on father’s chest,
Tender, tender is the night.
