This is a very short, but riveting true story about how I use daily exercise to help overcome the side effects of growing up in a dysfunctional family.
I tell the story of my bouts of anxiety, nervous illness, depression and migraines. I continue on with how I later developed high blood pressure, high cholesterol and hot flashes after having major surgery. I then discuss how I got started exercising over 20 years ago and how I changed my routines and exercise facilities to maintain motivation. I never get bored with exercise. Each day my routine is different with different instructors. It gives me energy and even helps stave off colds and the flu by helping to boost my metabolism and fight germs.
