My Adventure and Romance Novels
Young and lovely Terri'i Gagnon used as bait in French CIA plot to capture Tahitian students investigating possibility of tsunamis from French nuclear tests disintegrating Moruroa Atoll.
The scene is set when Lazarus Tretiiak, a Physics Professor and four of his students at the French University of the Pacific in Tahiti decide to hijack an advanced deep-ocean submersible and its research vessel. The activists are determined to use the submersible to photograph the Mururoa Atoll to prove to the world that dangerous radionucleides from previous atomic testing are leaking into the South Pacific. To force the commander of the submersible tender, Admiral Alain Gagnon, to travel to the Mururoa Atoll the activists involve the Admiral's stepdaughter, Terri'i. The result is a fast-pitched adventure matching Jacques L'Amareau, Head of the French equivalent of the CIA, against the ringleader of the nuclear protestors.
"My God. Now I'm in some kind of super spy movie complete with props," Terry Gagnon thought. "And at the mercy of this overly cerebral man. He's not taking into account at all how I may feel about this assignment. He's just like Alain. Maybe there's some way I can just slip back to Los Angeles without letting either of them know what I'm doing."
"Your passport Mademaoiselle!" Director General L'Amareau demanded.
Terry reluctantly drew it out of her purse and the agent quickly grabbed it as if it was a choice food morse. He placed it in his brief case and snapped the brief case shut.
"That sinks that plan," Terry thought, taking care not to show her rising anger at Jacques L'Amareau, Alain Gagnon and all things French.
