Excerpt
I find myself incapacitated with fear at times. Illogical and unreasonable fear. What if I go somewhere and find something paranormal? What if it all crashes down upon me as it did that night? What if I’m the only person to see or hear things of that nature? What if I published the piece, and find that no one has ever experienced such things? That I‘m as insane as the Spider? Surely, I’m not the only person to see it. Or feel it.
At times, it grows worse. I’m terrified and I don’t know why. There is no reason. I feel like something will just happen. I can feel eyes on me, or things near me.
The other wings of the hospital revealed few people. I believe the spirits come to the older part when they arise.
Yes, fear is fascinating. I say, with bitter regret, that it used to be my profession. I haven’t studied paranormal activity in over a year. I haven’t been out of my home in six months.
Fascinating…
