Time cannot quell the soul in formal solitude
The heart… which loves unbridled
Cowers… disparaged by countless lovers
Innocence enlightened by betrayal
Man’s tongue eludes the sanctity of truth
Body trembles… eyes succumb… tear stained face
Benevolent fortitude abandoned
