Sometimes Murphy Wins refutes Murphy's Law! Ms. McKay succeeded in writing a great humorous story with lively portrayed characters that left me intrigued during the whole read, laughing or sympathizing with Trina when Murphy struck. The plotting ghosts are unpredictable in their pursuit to manipulate Trina's love life and made me wonder what mishap would occur next. The love story between Trina and Jarett and their passionate encounters are just the icing on the cake. Sometimes Murphy Wins is definitely a keeper!

Sometimes Murphy Wins has been a wild ride that once you start you can't get off till it has come to a complete stop. Cassidy McKay's book is a comic relief that breaks through the monotony of conventional literature. Finding stress relief has never been so easy. It is said laughter is the best medicine And Ms. McKay can definitely serve it up.

It amazes this reviewer that Ms. McKay has not had any books in print in mainstream. Her storyline is so strong it could easily be considered a mainstream romance. In finishing this book, this reviewer finds herself starving to find more of Ms. McKay's books.

Written with a bright eye for slapstick detail, but a keen sense of drama and darkness as well, Sometimes Murphy Wins is perfect for those summer evenings when you want something more diverting than the usual modern romance, but something more lasting than an erotic quickie- because, on that particular subject, the tension set up in an early false start lasts so long and builds so high that it sometimes feels like Trina’s never going to let go. But, when she finally does, even the spirits get high.
