One interesting aspect of this case is the appearance of government spooks. On more than one occasion following the publication of the photos, the Trents were visited by men who said they were "from the government." No warrants of any kind, just walked in and searched their home. Watching Mrs. Trent relate this experience on the DVD, one is touched by her emotions, after all this time, their presence and attitude still makes her uncomfortable. And of course we have to wonder why was "the government" so interested? Paul Trent thought the UFO might have been a classified military object, which of course is possible. He told UFO researcher Leonard Stringfield (as reported in his book Situation Red) that he was nervous about given his photographs to anyone. "I'm afraid I'll get in trouble with our government," he told Stringfield.
