Afghanistan Dawning was written amidst a vicious war that has killed countless Soldiers and civilians. Tragedy has become commonplace, and some have begun to doubt that peace can ever come to Afghanistan, a land that has suffered violence for centuries. Others are convinced there must be a complete pull out, abandoning its embattled people of to a sort of preordained fate.
Though this novel is fiction, it is based on a premise that there is still a great hope for God's children in that land. That hope is found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, lived to its fullest and radiating the most powerful agent of change, the sacrificial and pure love of Christ.
