The Let Us Not Forget: A Tribute to America's 20th Century Veterans anthology will be filled with stories honoring American Veterans, stories that need to be told, to be read, to be remembered and not forgotten. ALL proceeds will go to the America's 20th Century Veterans Memorial Fund, for the completion of the memorial located in North Platte, Nebraska. The anthology will be published through iUniverse, with a release date for Spring 2002.

This memorial is our way of saying thank you. Thank you for the sacrifices you made so we may have freedom of speech and religion, the right to bear arms, the right to demonstrate, and the privilege to elect our own government officials. Thank you for protecting us from tyranny; thank you for laying down your life for those of us who were not able to carry a gun and fight beside you. Thank you. We are grateful; and we are proud.

WW II Veteran, Bob Dole will provide the forward and Vietnam Veteran, and former Nebraska Senator, Bob Kerrey, has agreed to write the introduction to the anthology.

There and Back: A Tribute to John Paul Plese

******Jack’s account of the past is a legacy to his family and future generations. He is an icon, representative of what our country stands for, and the irreverence we refuse to accept. In light of the unfathomable events of September 11, 2001, we have been all too cruelly reminded of how vulnerable we have become and how precious freedom is. Our veteran’s of all wars have fought to secure the freedoms we have innocuously taken for granted, and now more than ever, their efforts should not conclude in vain, but instead we must unite as a country, as citizens, to guarantee the rights our veteran’s have so valiantly protected.******
