Every Dismal Obstacle in Life is a Storm
In our everyday life, we can be caught up in a storm. This storm does not have to be a hurricane, earthquake, or a tornado, sweeping through our hometown or city to devastate us; it can also be the reality of everyday life smacking us in the face. Every challenge we face in this world is a storm. Oftentimes, it goes no further than our own homes, where home-field advantage does not even matter. From my BOOK
Every One of Us Is the New Beginning of Time
In the beginning of time was the beginning of the Bible. There are so many people in this world that raise the question, “Where did Cain and Abel’s wives come from?”
Huh, good question, if you really want to question the Bible. We are not supposed to be questioning the Bible. The Bible was not written in order for us to question, but instead, it was meant, and still is meant, to be our guiding post to help us live our own lives in a Christ-like way. Nobody seems to be able to come up with an answer for that question though. “Where did Cain and Abel’s wives come from?” Because they do not know the answer to this question, they decide not to believe in the Bible.
Folks, the Bible gives us all we need to know in this life. The Bible started the story about how the world came about. It then went on to tell how the first man and woman came about, and that would be Adam and Eve…the first man and woman on this earth. The story is about Adam and Eve, not about all the other people God made thereafter. It does not say what nationality Adam and Eve even were.
Do you even know what color God is? I bet God is no race at all, as I bet God does not even see in color. I bet we are not really supposed to see in color, either. I am not talking about color as in the color of flowers, clothing, or cars, I am talking about color as in the races of every man, woman and child on this earth.
God made this world, and he made Adam and Eve. They were God’s first man, and His first woman. They could not have been every nationality in this world. God made other nationalities too, and most likely, made more than one or two sets of the same nationality to keep incest out of the picture for the most part.
Where did Adam and Eve’s daughters-in-law come from? That is easy. God made them. However, does it really matter where they came from? See, Adam and Eve were the beginning, and every single time a little person is born, it is another new beginning, just like Adam and Eve. The Bible started out with Adam and Eve, and each of us are a new beginning, as we are each an Adam or an Eve. We have our own Bible thrown from that. We are all here to serve a purpose in this world. We all have gifts of different nature in order to serve the world in its entirety. We all have something we are good at, and something that somebody else might be better at. It is not because we are stupid. If we are not good at something, then chances are, that is not God’s plan for us. If we are not good at something, then that is not our purpose in life. Nevertheless, there is something we are good at, and that something might be God’s plan for us, and our purpose in life. Overall, we are all here to serve the Lord. We are His people, every single one of us, no matter where we live, what nationality we are, and no matter what color you think we might be. The fact is, we are here to serve the Lord.
The Bible has many unanswered questions in it. Nevertheless, the Bible was written as our guideline on how we should live our lives. In fact, each of us is an Adam or Eve, as I said. Maybe we did not come from the rib of a man, or from dust, but each and every one of us is the beginning of a time - our own time on this earth. The beginning of our time is also the beginning of our personal Bible.
Every piece of the Bible is a glorious piece of information on how we should live our life. The Bible is for spiritual direction, and for all of us. The truth of the matter is: we are here to serve the Lord, and that means to serve His people, and to do our best in everything that we do.
How Will People Remember You?
Nothing we own in this world is really ours. We have it for only the time we are here on this earth, and then it becomes another person’s property. When you perish from this earth, people will not remember you for how much money you had, what kind of car you drove, what kind of home you lived in, they will remember you for how you influenced their life. They will remember you for what you did for them, or did not do for them. They will remember you for who you were as a person.
Even though your property will no longer be yours, your legacy of who you were will live on forever. Your spirit will live on within people forever, and that is why it is so important to do what you can to make a great positive impact on as many people’s lives as you can, so your life will have made a big dent in this world. Therefore, your own Bible can be an added positive guidance post for others you left behind, so they may learn through your spiritual growth, along with the Holy Bible.
So many times, people think the one who dies with the most toys wins. These people have the wrong idea about things in this life. God gives us things for us to enjoy, not to idolize. How easy it is when someone dies, to forget just how many toys they even had while he or she was living! We do not think about that when we are at a loved one’s funeral.
When you die, the number of people who attend your funeral shows what kind of a person you were. How many people attend your funeral shows how many people you influenced, and how many lives you have touched, and folks, that is what life is all about. That is being Christ-like. Even though Christ was crucified on the cross and many people came to scorn Him, He still had more people at His death than most people will ever have at their funeral.
It is a shame, too, because those people missed the boat that scorned Christ. It is a pity, but it also was in God’s plan for us, too, because God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16
