I have been through many challenges, obstacles and some really strange situations throughout my life. Along the way I have been fortunate enough to not only live through them, but also have been given the opportunity to share with you what I have learned. I have found a great place to be in my life, and been taught ways to overcome my weaknesses, strengthen my love for life and find contentment and inner peace. I decided to write this book after I overcame an event that almost ended my life. I was told I could only keep what I can give away, so it is within these pages that I hope to pass along that gift to you. Life is a strange process, not an event. It comes with many twists and turns.
Ultimately though, you have the ability to make your life whatever you choose it to be, and how you process the events of your life are totally up to you. You already possess the ability and power to shape those events and use them to your advantage, or you can let them destroy you, shatter your dreams and remove your love for life. The choice is yours. It is my sincere intention that you find this book inspirational and I am able to pass along some thoughts and tools that you can apply to your own life, and achieve the peace and serenity that I have found in mine.

Inspired. I was inspired to write this book. Actually, I have wanted to write a book for many years, but something was holding me back. I was not ready. Questions transcended through my mind. Would anybody read it? Do I know how to write a book? What qualifies me to write a book?
I finally got to a place in my life that I wanted to be. I am at a place in my life where I am at peace with who I am. I have found my place in this world and my reason for being here. I was inspired to write this book for the sole purpose of inspiring others, and to share some things I have learned along my life’s path. I’m just an ordinary person that has found peace, serenity and a great place to be at in my life.
I have picked up a few things along my way that I wanted to share with others. I ask you to embark on this literary journey with an open mind, detached from everything you have been taught as “correct” or “right”. Free your mind to any and all possibilities and you will have freed yourself from the things that will hold you back. The same thing that let’s you dream your perfect life can also be the thing that holds you back, your mind and your thoughts.
We have been conditioned to live up to what others have deemed as “normal” or successful. We have this mental image of ourselves about what others expect in order to be accepted. That puts a lot of pressure on us to try to be perfect and live up to what our society has deemed proper. We all want to be liked, loved and accepted, but how we percive the world around us is very important. Free your mind of what your supposed to be and allow yourself to be who you are. God does not make mistakes, and you are certainly not a mistake.
As I stated above, I was inspired to write this book. The words in and spirit are those in which the word "inspire" originates from. They are two words that suggest that you can think without boundaries, without etiquette and the freedom to cogitate whatever you desire purely with the power of thought. It is in that spirit that I share with you some simple but powerful tools that I have learned during my time thus far on this earth.
I certainly did not invent these ideas, nor could I even begin to give credit to whom or where I may have learned them. We all learn from others, or we figure things out for ourselves. These pages are a collection of suggestions and tools that I have picked up along the way. They have given me peace, hope, courage and a genuine appreciation for life that I hope to share with you. Unfortunatly, life does not come with an instruction manual. What works for one
