Follow Jerome, a sophomore in high school, on his way to the in crowd. Social status in school is everything and that's exactly what Jerome does to be recognized - even drugs. "What Once was Heaven" is a story of peer pressure and the effects of drugs whether it's selling or using.
"Forbidden Territory" is the story of love found, denied and the price paid for it. Isaiah and Angel are perfect for each other except for the fact that she's the little sister of Isaiah's best friend, Travis.
Other stories are "Secrets", "Coffee's House", "Lost Dreams" and "Told You". All are packed full of memorable characters you'll love and situations to make you cry, laugh and leave you amazed. A real page turner...

She is the most beautiful creature I have ever seen. She has a soft, caramel complexion with natural, sandy brown hair and sun capturing, seductive, slender hazel eyes that you could get lost gazing in all day. Full, erotic lips and complete with the standard African-American voluptuous, curvaceous figure, that any man with a bad heart would be afraid to look at because of the way one glance at her would make your blood pressure rise. This is definitely not the same quiet, unsure, four-eyed, undeveloped, pestering little girl that left for college four years ago. Angel was now an outspoken, confident, well-developed woman who wore contacts and I am seriously considering pushing up on. I don’t care what no one says, time is not that generous to anyone.
I know the rules though. She is off limits. Not to be looked at in that way by me. She’s my best friends little sister. Forbidden territory. Besides, she wouldn’t want me. She knows how I live. Just like her brother, Travis.
Travis and I are hustlers. We live for the streets. It’s been that way for as long as I can remember. Every since his family moved across the street from me and my mom twelve years ago, we’ve been best friends and in the streets. No, I don’t think girls like Angel want me. We come across the ghetto fabulous girls, not the exotic. We date the streetwise, not the college educated. We attract what they call hood rats, not the sisters. I’m not on her level. She outgrew Travis and I both without us noticing a thing. No, she wouldn’t want me and her brother wouldn’t let it happen anyway. That’s just the way things are. Angel and Isaiah would never happen.
