“Yes it has. I just can’t help but think about something. What if there is another race of them looking down on us right now, planning another invasion as we speak?”
“I don’t know, man, but we won’t have to worry if there is. We got the best of the best with us. We have seven fighters, and probably more to join us later if something does happen.”
“I guess you’re right.”
“I think so. We’re strong. We can take on anything that comes at us.”
“Well, it’s getting late. Do you think we should head back home?”
“I guess so, Ben. Kids! Let’s go!” They all came running over.
“Wait! Let’s just watch the sunset together before we head home.”
“All right, Ben. Let’s do that.”
Everyone sat down on the sand together. It was a beautiful sunset, too.
Lots of beautiful reds and yellows.
“Look at the sun, Dad! It’s beautiful!” Kelly said, looking at her father.
“It sure is, Kelly. It sure is.” As the sun set behind the water, everyone got up.
“What’s that, Dad?” Kelly asked, as an odd looking shadow came out of nowhere, then quickly went away..
