A decision by definition is ‘the act of or need for making up one's mind’. When a decision confronts you it means there is an opportunity to select from several possibilities. There are only two outcomes to that decision as it will be either a right decision or a wrong decision. It usually comes down to one’s wants or desires.
If you keep the following in mind when confronted with a decision it may make it easier to make the choice.
There are learned decisions that our elders usually teach us, and I hope we learn because one may feel the result instantly. Given a choice of putting your hand into a boiling pot of water or not putting it into the danger, which one would you choose? Put it in if you desire to have a scalded hand! You will cry o-no.
That is an example of an easy choice and we should learn what is dangerous and not dangerous. The first years of our life we usually decide what is harmful and what is not. I hope our elders have taught us those early choices.
We may never know if a decision we make was the right one or wrong one. Most people have problems making a decision. Remember once you make that decision do not spend your time worrying if it was right or wrong. However, spend your time making the decision right. Then be happy with that choice.
