Temptation Calls
Tiny creatures watch and wait beyond the darkened garden gate hungry tongues taste the air woe to those who venture there.
Bleached bones sacttered at their feet tell the tales of recent feasts the fate of all that venture in their deadly garden full of sin
Their eyes are fatal firey globes which peer at you from hooded robes they steal the soul and eat the flesh their nature only wickeness
Temptation in a mask serene beauty as none have ever seen it blinds you so you cannot see beyond the gate lies misery
too late once you have been lured in you never can return again now one more soul in hooded robe peering out through fatal firey globes.
Excerpt
The Blackest Soul
by Marilyn Thompson
He dances,
the dying cries of the innocent
music in his ears.
A thief,
taking their youth, hopes, lives,
grinding them beneath
the millstone of his feet.
He laughs,
in mockery as all they were
becomes useless dust
carried away by the wind.
Injustice,
The Blackest Soul
imprisons the innocent
in the hell of the falsely accused.
