I picked this book up not really knowing what to expect, and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. I was drawn to the title of this book because as a young Christian, at times I feel my spiritual growth is stagnant. I think we all have felt "stuck" at one point or another. Well, this book really helps to put things in perspective, and serves as a good study tool and reference material. What I really liked about the book was that it was written on a level anyone could understand. The author also did not consume the pages with opinions, but reinforced optimistic strategies with numerous scripture references.

Whether you are a Christian trying to get out of a rut, or someone pondering giving your life to Christ, I recommend adding this book to your collection as you will defnintely get something out of it.

I read the book as a referral and was impressed by the depth and practical application of scripture to issues I have faced in my journey. This book speaks to you while you are reading it and served as a wake up call for me. I would suggest it to anyone that might need to get going or desires a closer walk.

Awesome
My aunt gave me this books a couple of months ago and I just starting reading it a couple of weeks ago and it has been a blessing to my soul. This book for me is doing exactly what it says- Personal Revival and I thank Mr. Matthews for allowing the Holy Spirit to guide him in writing this awesome book.
