If dogs could talk
This is a book for dog lovers of all ages. It teaches several life lessons, the most important one being, how to enjoy the simple things in life...like dogs do. It teaches the importance of friendship, and the special bond that dogs have, not only with their owners, but with each other. It's funny, it's sad, it's adventurous. And it's told by them! Yep, dogs REALLY CAN talk....are you listening?
One day Elvis asked me to take him for a walk in the big woods and show him around, you know...introduce him to some of the critters that live there. We came across Peter porcupine. I tried to warn Elvis about not getting too close to Mr. Porcupine. "He likes his space. So don't get too close. You might get hurt," I warned him. At first things were going pretty good. We were standing there talking to old Pete, when all of a sudden Elvis said, "Hey, that's a pretty cool coat you're wearin. You look fluffy, like me. It makes you look tough! You kind of stick out around here. How long have you had that coat, huh?" asked Elvis. "Don't mess with him kid," I warned him again. "I just want to smell it...it looks cool," said Elvis. Then, before you knew it, "YOW!" Elvis got a face full of Petes quills, and the more he yelled, the more quills he got in him! "Help, Sundace, he's shootin daggers at me!" he yelled.
