"Cloud of Chaos Planet of Light" tells the story of Wolf, a trained astro-physicist who suffers from schizophrenia. Often dillusional, Wolf is visited by a strange creature from a distant planet who tells him that the scientists from Marrias, a civilization of human-like beings that is 1000 years in advance of Earth, has located a massive cloud that will soon descend on Earth and suffocate every living creature. "Wolf Meuller worke up slowly from a resless sleep. His lips moved inaudibly and his hands trembled with fear as he sank lowerer into his leather lounge chair. He heard the voice saying that a poisonous cloud would soon snuff out all life on Earth.....
He shouldn't be back for a while, Wolf thought, while groping his way through the now darkened corridor. He futively entered the living room and reached for the light switch that would turn on the small lamp next to his chair. Instead, he pressed the switch to the large stand-up-lamp near the sofa.
Instantaneously, Wolf saw what he first thought was a very short man.
"Thank you for welcoming me." The four-foot creature, who to Wolf, resembled one of the Martians depicted in the movies, smiled and beckoned him to sit in the easy chiar. Wolf tried to turn off the light, but it did not work.....
...At the end of this year, 2020, or shortly thereafter, a great calmatiy will descend on Earth. If the massive poisonous cloud proceeds on its present path, as our astronomers predict that it will, your entire planet will be devastated. Nothing that breathes air on the surface of the Earth, will survive.....
Sadly, there is no longer time for humans to reverse the man made pollution of your natural resources on your magnificent planet. Despite the efforts of thousands of your people, who have pleaded with government to protect the environment, the materialism and greed of the richest nations have prevailed. The poisonous cloud will be able to easily penetrate your thinning ozone layer. Mankind has run out of time. To assist the Marriasts in the rescue of the human species will soon be the leaders of your nations' only choice."
