Elizabeth,
UNFINISHED BUSINESS is an excellent novel. The book is well-wrought, delivers important information, at the same time it is power-packed with action and sex scenes that should make everyone buy it for those alone! But it is much more than that, and I celebrate you. UNFINISHED BUSINESS is a very polished work...You've done a great job, making sure you took care of all the details. It's also an ambitious piece. It is very difficult to write good love scenes and these are all superb!
~ Carol Adler, MFA
President, Dandelion Books
Excerpt from UNFINISHED BUSINESS “All right! What will it take to convince you I can take care of myself?” she said stormily. Her hands were planted firmly on her hips in feminine outrage. “I don’t want you in any danger,” he shouted at her, his hands planted firmly on his hips in male outrage. Lindsay turned away from him. The next thing he knew, he and his male outrage were flat on their back on the grass. Lindsay had just executed an ushiro geri, a Karate back-kick to his chest which moved him eight feet from his original position, knocking the air completely out of his lungs, throwing him squarely on his ass, and he never saw it coming. His hand came to his chest to see if anything was broken. Slowly, painfully, he raised himself on one elbow and fumed as he watched her saunter away, her ass twitching like some thoroughly contented cat. First she horrifies the hell out of him with her Guns and Ammo bit and now she’s Chuck Norris! She was driving him crazy! Of course, she could have kicked much harder and knocked him to kingdom come. So that little tap means she still loves you, Mayer. Things were possibly looking up. He picked himself up, dusted off his sorry ass and followed her contritely to the car.

What the Reviewers are Saying...
Join Griffin and Lindsay on this race to save political figures from a mass killing while they complete some UNFINISHED BUSINESS. This is a delightful, detailed intrigue and romance. Although love does play a part, the real mystery lies waiting to emerge from the shadows. Unfinished Business =4 stars

UNFINISHED BUSINESS:If ever any male and female belonged together in the biblical sense, it's Griffin and Lindsay. Amidst that inevitable sexual explosion, somehow they must stay on their toes and thwart the plans of Embassy moles and ruthless terrorists. Oh what a fun trip it was helping these two resolve their Unfinished Business! I recommend it to those who enjoy action and intrigue.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS has it all, espionage, revenge and plenty of sensuous romance. Author Elizabeth Lucas-Taylor has penned a novel that snags readers in the first chapter and hurls them along through the entire book. This one is not to be missed!

UNFINISHED BUSINESS is a high-octane spy story with a unique relationship twist to it. Perfect for those whose reading tastes run to both drama and intrigue, Lucas-Taylor's novel delves into the technical side of the spy business enough to interest those who enjoy that sort of thing, and at the same time throws enough of a spotlight on the relationship between Lindsay/Honor and Griffin that any romance reader will be satisfied. UNFINISHED BUSINESS may be Elizabeth Lucas-Taylor's first book but it certainly will not be her last. I am looking forward to reading more of he writings and will be putting her name on my 'TO LOOK FOR' list. UNFINISHED BUSINESS is an exciting romance novel. It is full of intrigue, suspense, action, and sexy romance. The love scenes are tasteful yet sensual.

Let me "fess up" first - my review is BIASED. WHY? Because this LADY was, is, and shall ever be - a true HELPMATE to ALL authors everywhere. She gives help and information unceasingly to any and all who would take the time to pay heed to her - and she does it --- FREELY !!! And that, my friends, is the God's-Honest TRUTH!
Unfinished Business was so good that I could barely put the book down. Had I received it on a Friday, it would have been "polished off" NON-STOP, allowing only for "Nature Calls." BUT, I received it in the mail during the week, and I had to attend my JOB every day - SO - I read it every chance I could - break time, lunch time, in the evenings after work, "burning the mid-night oils!" The morning I finished it, 'twas about three AM.
INTRIGUE - INTELLIGENCE - PLOT TWISTS -BELIEVABLE CHARACTERS and DESCRIPTIVE PERSONS, PLACES, and THINGS - LOVE - LUST - SEX - IMPECCABLE LANGUAGE and TASTEFULNESS - ESPIONAGE - they are all in this MASTERFUL BOOK - and done with such an eye for DETAIL, it is PERFECTION at its finest.
Move over Ian Fleming - Elizabeth Lucas-Taylor is HERE. This reviewer, for one, is DROOLING, just waiting for the MOVIE

Gross neglect of her by Lindsay Mayer’s husband finally comes to the boiling point when she catches him in a strange hotel room with another woman. To escape an intolerable situation, and with the help of a well-positioned friend, she fakes her own death and enters the shadowy world of international spy craft and takes an assumed name. She quickly rises to the top of her field and is assigned to a case that will have a profound life changing, life threatening impact on her as she faces a vicious killer that has eluded capture by the international intelligence agencies for years.
Ms. Lucas-Taylor has done a masterful job of ushering Lindsay Mayer through major life-changes, onto emotional roller coasters, into and out of vividly drawn romantic and dangerous situations. In doing so she has melded the heat of a good romance novel with a Tom Clancy-like knowledge of the clandestine world of international spying. She has rendered Unfinished Business in her own style, with a grace that belies its status as a first novel.
For a couple of evenings of edge of your seat fun, try this all-out romantic spy thriller. You won’t be disappointed.
