what about daddy
After a long awaited weekend visitation, Glen got to see his two children for the first time in two months.
This is the true story of why he never brought them back! Arrested a total of six times, it was the FBI that first found him. But his children were hidden by teachers and friends each time. A fight to the finish was just beginning.
I did not write this book to get your sympathy, nor beg your forgiveness.I wrote it because this story needed to be told. I wrote it for all of the people out there who think that the world is full of heartless, uncaring,
ruthless people. It is also for those who choose to believe that there is no God.This book was written to show all of those people that they are mistaken. My story is proof that good people are out there everywhere and that without question, there is a God and all you have to do is believe and ask for help, I did.
Midwest Book Review
Unlawful Flight: A Parental Kidnapping is the true-life memoir of
father's rights advocate Glen C. Schulz, whose acrimonious divorce
culminated in a false accusation of sexually abusing his two children.
Stripped of his visitation rights without so much as a hearing, and
desperate to be with his children despite a legal system heavily
biased against him, he fled with both children to Houston, Texas. On
the run from the FBI and the police, he and his children assumed false
identities and received help from friends, family, and teachers, who
hid the children when Glen was arrested and when their mother tried to
steal them back. Eventually, after multiple arrests, Glen succeeded in
denying overwhelming odds and earning full custody of his children. A
heart-wrenching story of family strife, yet also of love and
ultimately of reconciliation. A final afterword from Glen's daughter
rounds out the compelling tale: "There has never been a day in my
whole life when I regretted what my father has done... I did
eventually forge a relationship with my mother; I got to know her for
eight years before her untimely death. In the end there were no harsh
words spoken, just a family that had finally come full circle." A
powerful testimony of one man's dedication to his children, and the
trying family times that tested and tempered his faith in God.

On her radio show during the interview, Sally said that she sometimes takes the opposite side in things and did so in Glens case. She called it a terrific story!

I greatly, greatly admire you. I would love to read your book, but unfortuately on a fixed income I can't at the moment. Thank God for men like you who aren't afraid to take a stand for what they believe in. You fought such battles for your children, you dug in deep and you weren't afraid. God bless you and keep you always safe.

|This was nothing less than an emotionally moving, take-my-breath-away, heart-gripping read. Parts of the book were very difficult for me to get through because I could feel the pain behind what you and your children experienced. Yet, what I felt more deeply than the pain was the unwavering love and commitment that compelled you to do whatever was necessary to protect your children. What an amazing journey this life has brought you. I wish you and your family the love and happiness you so deserve.|

|My Dearest friend Glen, before I begin, I must say, that no one should have to go through what you've gone through. As I began reading your book it soon became apparent I wasnít going to be able to put it down.
Knowing this is a true story, tugs at the heart-strings and causes one to cringe knowing what those precious children endured. Right or wrong, it is not for me to judge. As a Mother who would do anything for her children I can see why you did what you did. If you hadnít, heaven only knows what could have happened to them living in the environment they were living in.
Your story is not only compelling, heartbreaking, but it is also a testimony of real love from real people who live and breathe everyday, and are there for us in times of need. Some would say they were angles, and I believe that would be correct. You were so blessed to have family that supported you in your decision; but you already know that.
This is truly a remarkable story of bravery, courage, and hope. It was an honor to read your book. Blessings.
