Excerpt

"So, it is true." Christian narrows his eyes. "Michael is here, and he is mortal."

"Yes." Joshua replies without turning around.

"Truly mortal?" Christian drawls, suddenly smiling.

"Yes." He replies absently, his gaze still set on the glass before him.

"Why?" Christian queries, eyes narrowing.

As Joshua stands there the hazy reflection shifts and comes into focus; staring into Christian's eye's through the mirror, he reaches out into the glass and grabs the reflection of Christian's arm. Instantly, across the room, Christian's arm goes cold.

"Christian, we need to have an understanding." He says quietly, his grip tightening.

"Now, see here..." Christian gasps, pushing himself hard against the wall as the cold spreads through each nerve in his arm. The bones in his arm begin to crack slowly under the pressure.

"Remember, I need no invitation."

Reader Reviews for "Immortalis Venatio The Immortal Game"

Reviewed by Jason Mathis 8/22/2007
This book is amazing! More like a movie than a novel, it reads fast and hard with complex storylines and memorable characters. It really grabs you from the very beginning, and the Chess Game is just an added bonus. Not to mention that Christian is the scariest... well, you'll see...I have ever read. It's a page turner for sure. I hope someone makes this into a movie!

If you like Rod Sterling's Twilight Zone, Ann Rice, old Stephen King, and Gothic type horror in general you are going to love this book.

I can't wait for Part 2 to come out.
