Tiernan was aware when she entered the light of the fire before he ever saw her. It was strange to him that he could feel her presence before seeing her, but somehow it was becoming familiar to him. He smiled to himself as he thought of her in battle. He had felt the same odd tingling in his stomach again earlier that day that he had felt when she was attacked in the city. Although he couldn't rush to her aide, he prayed for her safety. His heart did a back flip when he heard that she was safe and then stood still when he heard of her heroism. Indeed, she was their champion.
