"Let's go for a walk," the taller one said. "Listen Johnson this is agent Bradshaw from the FBI and my name is Agent walker. I'm with the CIA and we know all about what you've been involved in. In fact we know every detail of your life," Walker said in a serious tone.
Thad wasn't impressed. Who did these clowns think they were messing with? "So why don't you run me in instead of beating around the bush, Mr. Secret agent Walker," Thad answered in a sarcastic manner.
"It not that easy," Walker exclaimed. "We want your Middle East connections; we want you to infiltrate the local Arab community so we can shut down their terrorist cells."
"And what makes you think I know any Arabs?"
"Oh we know more than you think. Do you remember the Egyptian guy you have the plans to for the Murrah Federal Building in Tulsa? Well he was with us."
Startled for a moment Thad slowly reached into his shirt pocket pulled out a cigar and fired it up. He knew at that moment that everything he believed about the government was true. They had deliberately slaughtered one hundred sixty-eight people and blamed it on one man. In fact they had executed the young man who was only a patsy.
"Let's cut the shit Johnson. We know something big is going down and when it does your going down for conspiracy!"
"How can I go down for conspiracy when I don't know a fucking thing about it?"
"Okay then," walker yelled. "You want to play that way; well let me tell you like it is. If you don't help us the IRS will be crawling up your ass, your landlord will be notified that your fucking little boys in the ass, your mail will disappear, and your precious little wife will be told that your a terrorist! Do you want to hear more?"
"But this is America, land of the free and home of the brave," Thad exclaimed sarcastically. "You can't..."
"Don't tell me what I can and can't do. And fuck all that freedom shit! The only rights you have are the rights that the agents of the central government choose to give you. We decide if you live or die. Got it?
