Enjoy the humour and mischievous adventures of Tina, a baby chimpanzee. Just how far would she go? Only time would tell.

"Tina! Where are you going? Come back here," Ashley yelled, chasing Tina to the stairs. But, as usual, the little chimp was moving fast. There was no stopping her. She slid down the banister and out of sight.
"Rylee, hurry! We have to stop her," Ashley shouted, running down the stairs behind her.
"I´m coming! I´m coming!" Rylee called. When they reached the bottom of the stairs, they stood still to listen.
Rylee moaned. “Did you hear that? It´s coming from the kitchen."
"Yes,” Ashley whispered. "We´ll go through the dining room, and maybe we can sneak up on her."
Ashley ran and hid behind a chair.
UH OH! A spoon flew across the room and hit the wall.
"This is not working, Ashley. Maybe if you sneak up from behind and grab her..."
"Excuse me? You want me to do it?"
Ashley was not prepared for the turmoil and disasters that this baby chimpanzee would soon create.
Excellent Children's Book
Ashley’s Unforgettable Summer by Grace Reddick is an excellent children’s
book. Ashley, the main character, captures your attention with her
unpredictable chimpanzee, Tina. The colorful illustrations blend in well
with the story that is being told.
Precocious Ashley and her chimpanzee are faced with one intriguing dilemma
after another. These “little” dilemmas become even more amusing as the
story reaches its apex.
The book is well written, as it shifts from chapter to chapter. The
author is to be commended, and I strongly recommend it for readers of all
ages. It is an excellent book for school libraries.

A Classic Book for Young People
A classic book for young people and those young at heart. Reddick’s writing style fuses beautifully with Charr Floyd’s illustrations to bring to life the wild adventures of Ashley and her little pal Tina. Sure to be a mainstay for bedtime storytellers everywhere.
