This book will give you your life back
This is a must read. This is a great reference tool. This book was the "light bulb" of my life or the ah ha moment I have been looking for. It helped me realize why I do the things that I did and have done. I felt like she took pieces of my life and put them down on paper. This book answered a lot of questions I had. I have a seven year old cousin who I meet for the first time my grandmother had just picked her up from social services. Before my grandmother had the chance to tell me anything about this child I saw the way she interacted with my son and how she was trying to get his attention. Had I not read this book I would not have been able to recognize this child has been molested. I did find out she had been molested by her mom's boyfriend. I would and will recommend this book to any and everyone it doesn't matter if you have or have not been abused. This book may be what you need to recognize a person crying out for help. Now that I have read this book I don't let what people say when they say I am over protected of my children. I now tell them I am just being a mother. I hope you enjoy the book please read it with an open heart and an open mind.

Thanks for having the courage to share your story.

Great help for parents
As the father of 4 children, I can't thank her enough for writing this book. What an eye opener. Surely, not everyone is a potential threat ... but it's best to take precautions. With a little change in our behaviour, our kids can have a healthy and happy childhood - safe from harm.

It's a quick read and a must for parents.

Educated about sexual abuse
I read this book thinking that I would walk away much more knowledgable about one persons story and the impact sexual deviance has on a family. I actually learned about the deep psychological and spiritual wounds and scars that sexual abuse can cause and the longterm effects of the pain. I know several people that were very young mothers and I asked each of them if they were abused and they all said yes, but several did not think until I shared Stephanie's story that it had had an effect on their life, they have since changed their minds. Thank you Stephanie for sharing a part of your life to help others build or re-build their life. As a mother of a little boy, I have always been cautious about who I let around him, now I will be more viligent and prayerful for his physical, mental, spiritual and sexual safety.
