It was surreal. The Caribbean is such a paradise. Tourists from all over the world come to enjoy the sun, sand and sea. The beauty is unparalled in amy of the countries I've visited. But in this job, you see people at their lowest, their most hard of hard times. Today was no different. The British couple had come with friends for a sailing vacation. The wives had flown ahead to St. Thomas to get in some quality time shopping while the men were to bring the boat over after lunch. Unfortunately Mr. Hollings never made it. There was an aloofness in his friends attitude, was the British reserve of something more sinister. I feared the latter and was soon to discover I was correct. As individual cases popped up I began to notice an alarming pattern. "Tourists" were coming to paradise only to turn up dead! I found a connection to prestigious and quite popular organizations in the US designed to help couples work through their issues. Could it be the solution of last resort?
