This is the story of my late father's army unit in which he served during the Korean War. He was born in 1929 in New York and served in a unit that was established in Atlanta, Georgia in World War II. The 425th Transportation Traffic Regulation Group, also known as the Four-Deuce-Five, saw action at Normandy, France (D-Day) and then later in the Korean War.
This unit received numerous commendations for the hard work that it put in moving men and material to the front lines by air, rail, water and land.
