The publication is an important resource for classroom practitioners for Mathematics. It is intended for teachers to explain clearly most of the Mathematical concepts learners will encounter. This has been done, with the needs of teachers and learners in mind, in a simple way and with examples to illustrate and enhance the meaning and application of key concepts.
Excerpt
Mathematical communication relies on mathematical definitions to ensure that there is no danger of talking at cross purposes. Because many mathematical terms are used loosely in everyday speech this can sometimes cause confusion. It is even more important therefore that when those words are used in mathematics, their meanings as mathematical terms are clearly understood.

TCM Reviews
This book is an invaluable math reference tool for the home, classroom, or home school. I was pleased to use it extensively in my own home school and it has proven its worth many times over. It contains an exhaustive number of mathematical definitions that are extremely helpful with the math in the middle school through high school grade range. The definitions are illustrated beautifully with clear examples which help to further explain their meaning. This is an excellent resource for older children who need help wading through the confusion of mathematical language and terminology.
