A collection of manuscripts that represent the diary of the first wave of Cuban political refugees from 1961 to 1964. El Mensaje de Liansu was broadcast thru WMIE, Miami, now known as La Cubanisima. It reflected the daily life of the Cubans arriving at Florida's shores seeking freedom.

391 pages of emotionally charged prose and 16 pages of pictures. The beginnings of Spanish radio in South Florida and the diary of the first Cuban political refugees arriving in the United States.   Excerpt

A card received from a young woman after she read my book: "I thank you personally and I am sure that one day colleges will use the book to study Cuban immigration to America. I sure hope that you can translate it into English." Signed: Linda K.
