"Happy birthday Mary" mum said as she wiped her hands on a towel "open your present then"

Mary eagerly ripped the wrapping paper open. Inside she found a small
leather box and when she opened it she found a beautiful necklace.

Mary got up and hugged her mum "oh thank you mum it's beautiful".
Mum smiled "go get dressed" she told her "breakfast will be ready soon. After
breakfast we can go see Old Mr Thomas ok".
Mary nodded and clutching her necklace she went to get dressed. When she came
back down she was wearing a nice blue dress and around her neck was the
necklace. She felt so proud and very grown up.
Soon after breakfast they went to see Old Mr Thomas and just as he promised he
gave her a present. It was a sparkling ring. It had a Ruby, a Diamond and an
Emerald.
Old Mr Thomas told her that it was a very special ring.
