A collection of poetic renditions from the heart and soul in various poetic formats. The poems reflect actual relationships and are non- fictional. Written with “poetic license” and in metaphoric styles to freely express unencumbered thoughts and emotions. “A hand driven by the heart expressing the spirit of love and writing in the blood of devastation within the soul. The simplicity of love and complexities of life collide” accurately describes the forces behind the poetry.
The poems relate to tangible relationships interlaced with the internet’s all-too-real, world of relationships. Most of the poems are derived from overwhelming passion with a tasteful touch of lustful desires. The longing of two hearts to be together, yet kept at bay by the painful, turbulent emotions spawned by frustration, betrayal, doubt and anger. The dark unknown of the internet where anyone can claim to be anything or anyone they want and believed friends play a key role in constant turmoil.

Title Poem
Complexities of the Heart
A paradox conflicting
Is love and its beliefs
Sublime is logic hidden
Within emotion’s reefs
No mortal laws of physics
Bind its cruelty or its bliss
Intrinsically affixing
In emotional abyss
It gives without condition
Silent secrets in it dwell
To love a heart’s decision
Its will it does impel
It burns of passion fire
In union with the soul
It seeks to fill desire
Completeness it extols
Spawns a spirit’s feral bliss
And torrent angers rage
With evils lying kiss
Mixed love and hate betrayed
Abused it loves much harder
To gentleness reclaim
In vain becomes a martyr
And bears an unjust blame
Neglected slowly suffers
In loneliness each day
A stranger once a lover
As lives go different ways
A heart with all complexities
Loves and bears its scars
It creates a life fulfilling dreams
Or can destroy who we are
An illusion in so many ways
Intangible allure
Deep within the souls it stays
But never is secure
