This is the second book of poetry from Detroit native Lisa Vicious. Written during a turbulent time throughout 2004 and 2005, she uses her angst, depression, and a get lost attitude to the fullest.
“This collection of poetry was written between 2004 and 2005 when my life was in complete chaos. I had a stalker, stupid drama, and a drug problem I was dealing with. In 2006 when I married my husband I finally realized that all along love really was the answer to helping heal myself. If he hadn’t pulled me from the wreckage I would probably be dead.
In my forthcoming book entitled “Let Us Prey”, rest assured you will see how the changes affected me.
2008 will be the Year of Vicious…. “
“Little Lost Girl” was originally published as an e-book in 2005.
"I remember, I would cry myself to sleep on the pull-out couch in the basement,
“scrub the floor, wash the dishes, read Revelations” - the end is near,
I must’ve been around 11 or half past 12,
The years morph together like melting chocolate used to make Christmas Candies.
“study hard, read your bible, Exodus 23:4-5, be kind to your enemies”
I used to wish I was dead, I knew no one would save me."
