A collection of short stories, poems, and my first screenplay I ever completed.
From "Pina Colada", the first story in the line up:
"I’m not a brave man, and when I say that, I mean people wouldn’t call me brave. Hell, you turn the lights off on me at the right moment, I just about jump outta’ my skin. You see, I think bravery and cowardice go hand in hand sometimes. Like the way you can’t have good without evil. Its not cowardice when the ones you love are put on the line, is it? I sure as heck didn’t think so. I try to tell myself I did everything I could, to the edge of my “abilities” as the doctor puts it. No, I’d wager the very edge would be killing the man; and I never had a chance to do that, not once. Ya’ see, my children were brave, my wife too. Braver than any you folks might expect for a couple of goofballs and a woman who never swatted a fly she didn’t weep for. They were brave."
