this Sam Shoemaker classic is brought back to life by Tuchy Palmieri and healing-habits.com providing books, booklets and publishing to make a difference in the lives of people
Sam Shoemaker worked with Ministers and employed the principles of The Oxford Group. His work made a significant difference in the lives of the Ministers and their Parishioners.
Twice-Born Ministers is a book of 12 personal stories of ministers who were reborn and re-energized to do the real work of ministry by helping people to become faithful followers in every sense of the word, specifically being reborn themselves to Christ and to his calling for them to do his work.
The book teaches both young and seasoned ministers of the Gospel and makes a difference between relationship and religion. This shot in the arm can help a minister who is watching his members stagnate: the solution starts with the leader.
The stories of 12 ministers to find within themselves the life of Christ so that they may minister more effectively and serve their church members as Christ would have them do. The economy of that era is echoed today and makes this book reading much more relevant to not only the ministers of a church but to all who would serve Christ. The 12 stories are touching and personal revelations as to how they found their way not only through tough times but through the mire that is the soul of mankind.

This conversion business puzzled me. I did not know how to go about it, and i was too timid to ask. I could not concieve of anything happening to me such as happened to St. Paul in apostolic times. But in our conversation we got down to brass tacks, and before long I brought out into the open of what was old- fashionedly call sins, which were blocking me from communion with God.
Right then and there I surrendered those specific sins and all others which i might discover later but which i could not recall or reconize then as sins. Both of us got down on our knees, he prayed for me first, then i prayed for God's forgiveness and without reservations handed my life over to him to use as he saw fit- not as i saw fit. there was no white light no emotion but immediately came a feeling of peace and release

Twice Born Ministers: We Are All Ministers written by S.M. Shoemaker Jr., in 1929. This book was republished by Carl "Tuchy" Palmieri and funded by Healing-habits.com. This book focuses on 12 stories by 12 ministers who were re-born to serve in their ministries with a primary goal of helping others to find their way to Christ. They basically are doing the work of the Lord and helping others to also bring others to Christ and begin a life of servitude. Their goals were to continuously guide others to true happiness. This book helped me to see that happiness and hard work can be found in everything and every possible way. I found this book to be enlightening even in this day and age.

An Inspirational Thought Provoking Book
An Inspirational Thought Provoking Book!,
This is another inspirational, thought provoking book that Carl Tuchy Palmieri and the organization Healing-habits.com has decided to republish. The books author is S. M. Shoemaker Jr., He was the Rector of the Calvary Church in New York. The book was originally copyrighted in 1929, but is still relevant today. This book is not to be confused with the Twice Born Men, which is a story about the people of the Salvation Army and written by Harold Begbie. S. M Shoemaker Jr. was a friend of and admired Mr. Begbie a great deal. If you enjoyed Twice Born Men you will also enjoy this book.
The book inspires us with twelve stories about Ministers that have lost their way and how, with the help of friends, found their way back. One of the things that the author believes in is that to be a good preacher, ministers must first evaluate their own believe systems and make sure that they are leading their lives according to Christs sayings. This means that they need to keep their own egos and worldly goods at bay so they can be the best they can be.
