Moral Kinda Thing
An educated business type feller showed me a written question one time that he asked folks he was thinking about hiring to answer in writing. Guess writing it out gave him more time to sort out their answers or something. Now before I show it to y’all, I want you to understand that ol’ Bubba he don’t have a lot of morals. Leastwise when it comes to women he doesn’t. When there’s women involved ol’ Bubba he’s got all the morals of a tomcat in heat. But I do have principals and I refuse to be a hippocrat. So here’s that moral question for y’all to think on.
You are driving down the road in your dinky little car and you see three people needing a ride. The first one is a little old lady that needs to go to the hospital because she’s hurting real bad. The second one is an old friend of yours who saved your life years ago and you haven’t seen him since. And the last one is the woman you have dreamed about meeting since you hit puberty and discovered the difference between the legs of boys and gals. If you could only fit one person in your car which one would it be?
Now the way you answer this here question will tell the feller that’s thinking about hiring you something about your morals. But since ol’ Bubba doesn’t have any morals to worry about, here’s what he’d do. I’d let my friend that saved my life drive my pick-up with the old lady in the cab and head for the hospital right quick. Meanwhile, ol’ Bubba would be in the camper on the back of the truck with his dream woman getting to know her better. And that folks is just another reason why ol’ Bubba drives a truck instead of one of them dinky little cars.
