The first novella from Author, Nickolaus Albert Pacione and photography for the cover art was done by the author.

Norwood's Discovery is my first forray at writing a novella and this is a single chapter novella for those who wonder about this one.    I never wrote this kind of story before so for those who've been familar with my work know I normally write in the horror genre, but I wanted to do something for my younger sister since my parents told me I wrote too dark for her.  This is my second story that is semi-family friendly so to speak.   I will not be posting the story anywhere online in its entirely so if you want to read this one you have to snag a copy of the book from  The novella for me was an expanding on the advice the late Gerald Grimmett gave me on writing outside my genre -- here I am writing my sixth story outside the horror genre.   Life Inheritence is actually a literary fiction story along with Accidental Ghosts,  so is Halloween On Camera and the Lake Fossil stories.
As Terry Vinson described this one as being a little bit of The X Files in the sense of the way it is written,  he wasn't too far off with it either.  I wanted to have the main character an adventurer of sorts--and being that I was influenced by Indianna Jones,  thought why not.  The horror in the story is all background,  this one I wasn't even trying to be remotely scary with it.  You want a scary story though from me check out the new story on the Quakes and Storms  anthology called UTICA, ILLINOIS.  I was inspired some by the Discovery Channel with this as well,  especially since my parents were avid scuba divers and when they first got married they used to do a lot of scuba diving.
So with that I wanted to do a story that was different and this was it.  Make yourself comfortable as you find this book and take it with you when you're on the road.    It is about an author who is an adventurer and finds his way to some ornate statues,  even they've lived within the waters for centuries they have a way of telling their story.  This book was born out of the advice of the late Gerald Grimmett of trying my hand at writing a few stories outside of my genre.  He was right about this one,  I wish he was alive long enough to see this novella done.   I busted my ass on this project, and it was my third effort as a Science FIction writer.   So if you're looking for something with a yarn that calls to mind Jules Verne,  hope this doesn't leave you disappointed.   My parents asked me when I was going to write a book for my younger sister,  this is the book I wrote for her.
