All the little mice in Maurice’s Cornfield
are scrambling for cover, as monstrous
creatures invade their once peaceful home.
Mothers grab their babies and hide, as
Maurice and all his friends dodge huge feet
and flying corn tassels. Maurice’s tail is
crushed in the process of making an escape.
Most of the mice are baffled by what is
happening to them, until an old-timer assures
the younger mice that the strange creatures
are merely human beings who have come to
detassel the corn.
