Sunken treasure aboard a ship torpedoed in 1945 brings forth a government cover up suspense and finally a surprise.

A strange black package is netted by a fishing trawler off Cape Cod with the marking SS Beddington and Top Secret. The government confiscates the package and covers up the sinking of the SS Beddington during WW ll The story is set on Cape Cod, in Washington, DC, England, Germany and on a German U-boat. The mystery of the package content unfolds and the information inside initiates a salvage operation 400 feet down in the Atlantic where intriguing and dangerous cargo is found. But some of that cargo is missing and the answer to why comes from Munich, Germany where an aged attorney tells who absconded with it. Excerpt
