Widowed at twenty-four by her husband Horace's motorcycle accident, Maggie Murphy is broke, unemployed and all the cosmetic companies say your skin starts drying out at twenty-five. She finds a part-time job which turns into full time when she finds the mutilated body of the man she replaced behind the office dumpster. Her husband's ghost hovers trying to tell her his death was dead wrong as the police investigate the body she found and the mutural attraction between Maggie and the handsome policeman deepens.
