Richard Williamson has begun to see a decline in his father's mental health. The old man has been forgetful to the point of endangering himself. Fot three times in two days, Joseph Williamson has left the sove burning. He couldn't  even remember turning it on, just as he couldn't remember putting on his own shirt.

Richard, frustrated and fearing for his father's own well-being,decides to commit Joe to a nursing home. Even when he hears a mouthful from Joe's friends, who valiantly offered to put the old man up instead, his mind is set. What good could possibly come out of this tragedy?
