"With no regrets and oodles of lessons learned, this is the story of a man with a prognosis of “brain-dead, no chance of recovery” who overcame all odds. Spurred along by an author whose loved one had a stroke, my family and I jumped headlong into pulling Daddy from the brink of death; helping him return to as normal a life as he would be capable of regaining."
I welcome you to journey through a story of survival, of love, of stubbornness, of miracles and of coming back home; based on emails that were sent to family and friends during our long ordeal.

'If I ever wanted to make peace, the time had come. I methodically proceeded to pack bags of necessities for a few days, unsure of what I would find. I went home to say goodbye to my daddy.'
